GETTING STARTED WITH ADSR Drum Machine
How To Install ADSR Drum Machine
In order to use the Drum Machine you need to install the software on your computer. Currently the software can be used with an Apple Mac or a Windows machine. On installation the software will install both the Stand-alone application and (if you choose) the plug-in (VST3 and AU) for use in a DAW. Please follow the steps below to download the software -
- Download the software from the ADSR Sounds website here https://www.adsrsounds.com/drum-machine/,
- Install the software using the tool which will have been downloaded to your downloads folder on your computer.
- You can now use the software free for 30 days
- If you choose to purchase the software you can do this by clicking the link to do so in the plugin.
- You will be provided via email with a product key which will allow you to use the software with no time limits.
Setting up Drum Machine as a Standalone application
To setup the stand-alone application so that you can use it with your audio device, you may need to configure the audio settings in the preferences:
- Click the Main menu in the Header and open Audio and MIDI Settings... in the Edit sub-menu.
- Select the Audio tab and select the audio interface you want to use from the Device drop-down menu.
Setting up Drum Machine as a plug-in for your DAW
ADSR Drum Machine can be loaded in any DAW supporting the VST3 and AU plug-in formats.
These formats are automatically included when you install the ADSR Drum Machine.
To use the plug-in in your DAW:
- Open your DAW after installing ADSR Drum Machine.
- Create a new instrument or MIDI track
- Load the ADSR Drum Machine plug-in in the instrument or MIDI track.
- Activate the record-ready or monitoring state of the track to enable playing the instrument via MIDI.
